Every semester you will get to apply for MCN (Merit cum need scholarship), which is based on your family income and the CGPA you are scoring. <p>BITS Pilani BSc Scholarships are offered to meritorious students who come from poor financial backgrounds. These scholarships are only available to students who have completed their admission process to the Institute.&nbsp;There are two types of scholarships available at BITS Pilani: Merit Scholarship and Merit cum Need Scholarship.&nbsp;</p><p>The Merit Scholarship is awarded based on the student's CGPA in the current semester. A total of 10 students per batch receive 100% off on their tuition fees, while another 10 students per batch receive a 40% discount. The cut-off for this semester was 9.2.&nbsp;</p><p>The Merit cum Need Scholarship is awarded based on the student's CGPA and their parents' annual income, which should be less than INR 10 LPA.&nbsp;</p><p>To qualify for a scholarship at BITS Pilani, a student can either perform exceptionally well academically, score high in the entrance exam, excel in sports, or demonstrate financial need.</p>
