Does Carnegie Mellon University need GRE?

<p>Carnegie Mellon University's GRE requirement varies by program. Some programs require GRE scores, while others do not. The Language Technologies Institute does not have a minimum GRE or GPA requirement. The Computer Science Department waives GRE scores for applicants who have graduated from, or are enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University. However, submitting GRE scores is highly recommended. The Electrical and Computer Engineering department made the GRE requirement optional for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 admission cycle. The School of Computer Science does not have a minimum GRE requirement, but applicants must submit a GRE score. The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Innovation programme requires GRE scores. The Mechanical Engineering department is not accepting GRE scores for their graduate admission process</p>
