The department conduct activities like bamboo art workshop where students learn about use of material in design. There are also sessions like automotive styling workshop led by industry experts, where students explore vehicle design. University also invite speakers from design industry to share knowledge about portfolio and future design trends. Students also go for industrial visits like the one at Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering &amp; Technology, Baddi. These workshops and visits help students connect with real world design work. It give them better exposure outside classroom.
