Christ University has two sessions of selection process. One in January and one in March. You can apply for the March process after you get your MAT scores. You don't have to choose the specialization at the beginning itself. That will be after you complete two trimesters.

I don't think that the number of seats will be more or less. I don't have much information on this though. The cut-offs are the same.
