    Hello,
I feel this is good as it inculcates the habit of discipline and regularity in students. if you have less than 75% attendance then you need to pay INR. 8,000 per subject to give the exam or else you will be debarred.
    Thank you.

Yes, at some point of time when you are not having your attendance in any semester at least you must be having good percentage in one of the semester so that they can give you grace as well.
    All the best.

I have heard that the university is particular about attendance. But, somewhere I feel this is good as it inculcates the habit of discipline and regularity in students. If this is not done by the universities/ colleges many students will never ever go to classes and waste hard earned money of their parents by getting flunked.
Sensible students maintain a balance of attendance and have a wonderful college life.

Yes, the minimum attendance of 75% is compulsory for all the students to sit in the examination by the rule of AICTE and UGC and the university is quite strict regarding the attendance.

Yes, it does. A student is required to have an aggregate percentage of at least 75% for each semester. Only then they are eligible to write the final examinations. Otherwise they get detained are not allowed to write the exam.
