Does college go harsh on students with below 75% attendance?

Hello, I feel this is good as it inculcates the habit of discipline and regularity in students. if you have less than 75% attendance then you need to pay INR. 8,000 per subject to give the exam or else you will be debarred. Thank you.

LPU is very strict regarding attendance. They do not allow to appear in the exam if the attendance is below 75%. For more details please check the LPU website or call at the toll free number 1800 102 4431

Ya sure going to those classes which gives us no benefit, a 6 hours of class which is just lazing teaching can be replaces by the Ed content we get online..n it's not to maintain discipline but to turn them into robots, go to class whether the faculty teaches anything or not Pfff....saddd life of s

Yes, the minimum attendance of 75% is compulsory for all the students to sit in the examination by the rule of AICTE and UGC and the university is quite strict regarding the attendance. Thanks.

Yes, it does. A student is required to have an aggregate percentage of at least 75% for each semester. Only then they are eligible to write the final examinations. Otherwise they get detained are not allowed to write the exam.

Yes, at some point of time when you are not having your attendance in any semester at least you must be having good percentage in one of the semester so that they can give you grace as well. All the best.
