Yes, Datta Meghe College of Engineering in Navi Mumbai, India refunds caution money to students after they complete their course or cancel their admission. The college also states that if the college charges more than the fees decided by the Fees Regulating Authority (FRA), the excess fees will be refunded to the student.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has ruled that higher education institutions (HEIs) must refund fees to students who cancel or withdraw their admission within a certain period.
