Does delay in publication affect selection chances in Ph.D at MCHP, MAHE?

I am a Postgraduate fresher. I am going to join for Ph.D immediately. Currently I have one Scopus indexed publication. Another paper is in process for publication and will take time to be published.

    A publication details list is required for the University Ph.D. protocol application at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). 

     

    Here are some other requirements for the PhD program at MAHE:

    Admission test

    The All India PhD Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is a live proctored test conducted by the faculty team. The entrance test is worth 35% of the total score, while the interview or viva voce is worth 65%.

    Master's degree

    Candidates must have a Master's degree or equivalent from a recognized university. If the degree is from a foreign university, it must be recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Commonwealth
