Does engineering have good scope? Many engineering graduates are unemployed in my locality.

    Before thinking about the scope, just go and ask about the college unemployed people passed from. They will never be from IIT, NIT or some reputed college. If they are from IIT NIT, then they must have ignored engineering and have not taken it seriously (just a bit). There is no deserving engineering student who is jobless. Many are leaving jobs just to start their own business. All are involved in some work, either it is related to their branch or not, does't matter. After engineering everyone is capable of doing something, something they like. This is the reason there are many startups by IITians because they don't fear failure. They

    Yes, Abhijith. There is a lot of scope in engineering but the thing is there is a scope for skilled engineers not for unskilled engineers. Skilled engineers are those who are good in their studies and have suitable knowledge for cracking the job interviews. Unskilled are those who does't have required knowledge and those who are not good in their academics. There are so much of demands of skilled engineers in India. If you have good scores in B.Tech, then you will surely get great jobs.
