According to the NIRF report 2023, a total of 5026 students were placed during the 2022 placement drive at Calcutta University. The median package offered to BA LLB and LLM students was INR 9.20 LPA. However, there is no placement cell at the Faculty of Law, and most students practice in court or pursue higher studies.
On the other hand, NUJS Kolkata placements 2022 concluded with a total of 118 job offers from 24 recruiters. Among them 80 offers were accepted by the 2022 graduating batch. NLU Kolkata (WBNUJS) appears to offer better placements than the Faculty of Law, Calcutta University, according to an analysis of the available placement data and statistics on campus recruitment:
1. In 2022, WBNUJS was hired by more than fifty prestigious law firms, such as Cyril Amarchand, AZB Partners, and Khaitan & Co. Prominent companies such as TATA and Aditya Birla also employed students.
2. The average package at WBNUJS in 2022 was INR 10.2 lakhs, while the highest package was approximately INR 18 Lacs annually. The average packages for Calcutta University are significantly less.

Actually yes, faculty of Law BHU accept applicants CUET-PG scores for selection. Candidates seeking admission must a valid score in the national-level examination.
Students seeking admissions to Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University must note that the admissions are conducted on the basis of the CUET exam. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is conducted by the NTA and admits students into various UG courses across the nation. The CUET 2025 cycle has ended and students can prepare for next years' exam. Further, students can also prepare for the nationally-held CLAT exam which conducts admissions to different Law universities across India.
