The Global Scholar Award, the Gladys Marcus International Award, the FIT in Italy Awards, and various program-specific awards are among the 45+ study abroad scholarships that FIT offers, ranging in value from $1000 to $7500. All are competitive and may be given in addition to other grants from the government or the FIT Foundation*.

International students may avail the below scholarships -Presidential ScholarsThe award is given to students who wish to study abroad in their junior and sophomore years. For presidential students, the following scholarships are available:Fund for International Studies from the Jerome L. Greene Foundation, up to $10,000 Award of $2000 under the Jodi Tilton Memorial Scholarship for Summer Study Abroad. Up to $5,000 in Henry Wolf Presidential Scholars Summer Abroad ScholarshipsRothman FellowshipsStudents who want to take part in the FIT study abroad programme are given the Rothman scholarship. Each student receives a $1,500 award. The requirements for eligibility include:<ul><li>Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate programme, either full-time or part-time.</li><li>must have earned a 3.0 GPA or above.</li><li>They must have finished a course in educational skills</li></ul>The following criteria will be used to choose the winner:<ul><li>a curriculum vitae and a personal statement outlining your motivation for choosing to study abroad</li><li>a letter of recommendation from a FIT professor not part of the department of educational skills</li><li>Interview with the Educational Skills Department staff.  Other outside awards come in the form of:</li></ul>Study Abroad Grants from the Institute for International Educations (IIE)Candidates are provided with a variety of fellowships, grants, paid internships, and study abroad scholarships for American undergraduate, graduate, and professional students under this programme.
