Does fields like microbiology and biotechnology have good job opportunities in India?

I gave my class 12 this year nd hav scored 93%.I want to take up biotechnology or microbiology.But,i have heard that there is no good job opportunities in India for fields like biotech or microbio,though it is very popular abroad.Is there no job opportunities in India?

Dear Debjani, Microbiology & Biotechnology is Booming in India. There are may opportunities for students coming from this field. Biotechnology is widely used in India for Food Processing Purposes. One good Example of the Industry Hiring People from these Fields is the very reputed BIOCON itself.
