Does finance in major and operations in minor goes hand in hand for mba?

I m a student of amity university with a Cgpa 8.04 in my first year. graduated in maths n being a science student i can't opt for super specialization in finance thus have to opt for major minor or dual.sir my query is that do finance in major and operations in minor goes hand in hand.
