<p>All admitted first-year applicants of Florida State University are automatically considered for the Office of Admission&rsquo;s <strong>merit-based academic scholarships</strong>. As such, no separate scholarship application is required for these scholarships to FSU. These scholarships are competitive in nature and awarded on the basis of academic merit (a combination of the GPA and test scores of the applicants).</p><p>As non-Florida residents, international first-year applicants are eligible for the Tuition Reduction Scholarship offered by the Office of Admissions.
