    No, getting shortlisted for counselling does not guarantee admission in VIT. It depends upon the availability in seats for the branch. Ranks under 1000 are eligible for scholarships.
  • No, it does not mean that you will get admission if you have been called for counselling. It is based on the no. of seats available and that depends on the day of counselling you get.
    If you get the first 3-4 days then you can get a seat but after that the chances keep decreasing. So you can get admission only if your rank is good.
