Dedicated Placement Department + Student Placement Team: GIBS has a placement/career‑services department headed by a placement coordinator, plus a “student placement team” (selected from among students) that assists in outreach, coordination with recruiters, and internal organisation.

Formal corporate‑interface through “Industry‑Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC)” / “Corporate School / GCS”: According to GIBS's own disclosure, this body interacts with companies, builds and maintains recruiter relationships, organises internship and placement drives, and acts as a liaison between students and industry.

Support, Mentoring & Alumni Network: GIBS leverages its alumni network (reportedly over 2000 alumni) for mentorship, networking, and sometimes internship/job referrals. Alumni are often engaged to guide younger students, furnish industry insights, and assist with placements.

GIBS Business School has a strong placement record, with the institute reporting near 100% placements every year for students participating in the placement drive.
