Yes — GIBS Business School does provide opportunities for students outside the offered course; however, it does not currently offer a formal dual degree on a standalone basis. Instead, GIBS provides global exposure and international learning via:

    International/Global Exposure Initiatives

International Immersion Programs: Short-term study tours or academic visits to partner universities outside South Africa. In these programs, students will interact with global faculty, participate in workshops, and learn about the international business environment.

At GIBS, students do get exposure beyond regular classroom learning. The college focuses a lot on global outlook through international sessions, guest lectures, workshops, and academic collaborations. There are opportunities where students can learn from international faculty, attend global webinars, and take part in programs that give international exposure.

As a student, what I really like about the GIBS IRE / GIBS Talks Podcast is that almost every week we get to see something new. There's always a fresh speaker, a new industry voice, or a different kind of session, so it never feels repetitive.

Recently, the episode with Mr. Deepak Saini (Co-founder & CEO, Sahaj Gaming) stood out — very real talk about startups, mindset, mistakes, and how things actually work outside college. No heavy theory, just honest experiences.

The best part is that these sessions and podcasts are continuously happening. Every week or so, there's another guest, another perspective, and another learning moment. As
