Yes, a student can get a fee refund if he/she wishes to cancel the admission. GICED does provide a fee refund in case of cancellation of admission by the candidate. However, the amount of the refund is subject to certain conditions. Tabulated below are the guidelines to be followed as per the fee refund policy of the institute:

    Eligibility condition

    Refund%

If a student gets his admission canceled before the commencement of the academic term

100% refund after a deduction of INR 500

Upto 20 days after the commencement of academic term of the course

    80% of the fees

From the 21st day up to 50 days after the commencement of the academic term of the course

    70% of the fees

From the 51st day up to 80 days after the commencement of the academic term of the course or August 31 whichever is earlier

50% of the total amount of fees

Cancellation of admission from September 1 to September 30

40% of the total amount of fees

Cancellation of admission after September 30

    No refund

Note: The above-mentioned has been sourced from official website. However, it is still subject to change.
