Does Government Engineering College provide 100% placement?

<p>Most of the Government Engineering Colleges in India could boast of good employment opportunities, but there is no assurance of 100% placement. The percentage of placement depends mostly on the branch of engineering, performance of the students, market conditions, and reputation of the college. While it might be high in the topmost branches such as Computer Science and Electronics, for other branches, it could be considerably low. Most colleges have placement cells; but 100% placement depends on the student's skill and the demand from the industry. A few colleges might be in tie-ups with reputed companies, but overall success of placements varies every year.</p>
