Does having a master's degree make one eligible for PMP?

<p>Though a master's degree might be beneficial for one's general qualifications and understanding of project management principles, it doesn't change the fundamental eligibility requirements set by PMI for PMP certification. Those holding a master's degree have to meet either of the two requirements: three years of project management experience with a four-year degree or five years of experience if a student has a secondary degree. So, even though it adds value to your knowledge bank, it will not work to get you out of the experience and educational requirements of PMP certification.</p>
