    Yes hotel management has a good scope. Hotel management can include Hotel & Restaurant management, Cruise Ship Hotel management, Hospital Administration and Catering, Hotel and Tourism Associations, Airline Catering and Cabin Services, Club management, Forest Lodges, Guest Houses among others. Expansion of global travel industry and aviation industry is expected to boost hotel industry in next couple of years.

    Hotel Management opens up a door to the world of hospitality including hotels, resorts, quick service restaurants( Mc. Donalds, KFC, Subway), themed park (like Disneyland, ocean park of Hong Kong), luxury retails like (Prada, Louis Vuitton, Gucci Armani), airlines (as a crew or a ground staff) as well as in govt. sectors like (railways, catering services). But, if you wish to join govt. services after HM, then I would suggest you don't do that. It will stop your growth.     Yes, it is a good course and a number of opportunities are available in this course like food production, airlines operation, travel agency & tourism, food and beverages services, etc. You can do Diploma, Bachelor's degree or for become an expert you can do Masters also. Hotel management is not limited to hotel, multiple options are available.
