IIIT Dharwad does not offer a scholarship of its own. However, the students can apply for various scholarships offered by the central government and state government, such as National Scholarships for Higher Education, Potsmatric scholarship etc. Candidates can visit the official scholarship portal and apply for the scholarship. Candidates must also check the eligibility criteria before applying for the scholarship.

Yes, the institute provides Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, National Scholarships for Higher Education, free messing and remission of fees. Under Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, 25% of students are selected for tuition fee refund and INR 1,000 per month. The institute also offers various other financial aid options to students who are in need. These can include need-based grants, loans, and work-study programmes. To secure some of the scholarships candidates total family income should be not more than INR 4.5 lakh.
