Shefali, There are 2 kinds of careers - based on understanding of theory or based on practice of theory. All right brained activities including sports a& creative career lie in the latter domain. For careers that are based on practice of your skills, degrees become irrelevant and in fact come in your way of acquiring knowledge. All govts across the world have designed structures on how degrees can be provided. Shefali, no there is no journalism curriculum in IIT. There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. you can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D vizualizations. you may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. you can get into production, whether live or animated.
