Does Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research have good and experienced faculty?

<p>Well, it is the institute which offers post-graduate medical education and enters the field of research in it that has a very good reputation for having a well-qualified faculty. The faculty of IPGMER constitutes a conglomeration of senior professors, senior most doctors, and specialists in diverse fields of this great science. Many of them have considerable clinical exposure coupled with experience in teaching, thus contributing towards making the institution academically best.</p><p>Faculty is not merely involved in teaching but rather in whole medical research and also associated with clinical practice; thus, students get trained in actual practice-oriented environment under the guidance of experienced faculty along with courses at postgraduate level across diverse medical specialties. This rich and wholesome experience is also an important reason why students are drawn to IPGMER for their medical education.</p>

<p>Hello, the institute of post graduate medical education and research in Kolkata has a very long history. It became a hospital for the European and continue to be so for many years. Finally after the independence on 16th of January 1957 it was renamed as institute of post graduate medical education and research in the same premises and was the inaugurated by none other than the then prime minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru. The institute has come a long way since then. It obtained 24th rank amongst all the medical institutions across India in the year 2023 as per NIRF.&nbsp;</p><p>The institute has quite a reputed staff as teachers who have great experience in their chosen field. The faculty has very well known names in the medical field.&nbsp;</p>
