Does it matter in jobs if I get dropped out in 1st year of my engineering?

It depends on what type of job you want and sometimes for companies all that matters is your knowledge, not your degree. Your capabilities matter, but for some companies, your degree is your mode of entry. So, it is a risk. Don't opt to drop, finish it.
