A private college degree or a government college doesn't really matter. What matters is the kind of education and opportunity that an institution provides. Based on your percentiles, look for the best ROR, and then opt an institute.

Dear Gaurav JIMS, Rohini provides PGDM degree of their own. Yes, it will definitely have the value as it is AICTE and AIU approved. I suggest you to once give GDPI and then take the decision whether to apply or not. Thank you!

Dear Gaurav, JIMS-Rohini is AICTE, NBA accredited and AIU approved. If any institute has AIU approval then it is equivalent to an MBA degree. They are conducting there GD/PI on 27th January so this is the right time to fill up the form and give the interview.

You should go for JIMS-Rohini because I think it is the best college for PGDM. And if you get admission, you will definitely realize that it's a good decision. PGDM courses are provided by colleges which are autonomous body (not affiliated to any University), and MBA Degrees are offered by colleges which are affiliated to Universities. And, yes, PGDM does have value. Colleges like IIMs, XLRIs doesn't offer MBA degrees; they only give PGP Diploma.
