    Until the academic year 2021-2022, JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research) conducted its own entrance exam called JIPMER MBBS for admission to its undergraduate medical programme. However, starting from the academic year 2022-2023, JIPMER has been merged with NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). This means that admissions to JIPMER MBBS programme are now done through NEET scores. For the current admission cycle, NEET marks will be considered for admission to JIPMER.
