I cant say much about ordinary universities, but:
In India the biggest ever scholarship scheme is offered by LPU. Several categories and criterion are basis of these scholarships like:
    1. LPU NEST The biggest one, more than 50000 students have benefited from LPU NEST based scholarships across all the programs including B.Tech.
    2. JEE Mains: For B.Tech students who have done well in JEE Mains get scholarships. For other programs meant national level examinations are also considered.
    3. Past qualification: LPU offers the scholarships on basis of performance in last 2 qualifications e. g in B.Tech 10th and 10+2 marks both can be considered.

Dear Agraraj, I don't have idea about JK Lakshmipat University, I would say, Lovely Professional University is the best engineering college in India. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, best laboratories, and modern technologies. In my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and has practical exposure, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. In my view, I think you should not worry

Well I do not think so that there is any university which can guarantee a placement because it is the companies which comes their for recruitment purpose and in front of the recruiters students need to show their potential in the field. I have been in LPU so I can vouch on their practices that they are implementing and I have witnessed their effort for students and management working hard for placement and imparting quality teaching. Here are few highlights which I would be sharing for helping you to develop your mind set. LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both
