Does journalism have any scope is india.considering the fact that the worls is dominated by engineers in job availability and salary terms.?

I am in classs tenth and under huge tension as to which stream to pursue.i love the job of a journalist and dream of working for nat geo or discovery some day.i would like to know if i am capable and have any scope in this field.
