Kerala University offers various types of need-based and merit-based scholarships to its students. It offers need-based scholarships to reserved category students. Further, the University of Kerala provides merit-based scholarships to students of MA, MSc, M.Com, MSW, MBA and MCJ programmes. In order to become eligible for this scholarship, candidates need to have a first-class Bachelor’s degree in the University exams. A total of 169 merit-based scholarship of INR 3,000 each per year is offered to PG students. The subject-wise distribution of the scholarship will be as follows:
