At Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) Kochi-Kakkanad, under certain conditions students are allowed to have the refund policy of fees. If a student drops out of a programme prior to the start of the classes, normally the student receives a reimbursement of the tuition fee less a processing fee. But once a student has withdrawn from his or her classes after classes have started, the university may charge a portion of tuition fee for administrative and academic purposes.
