    Yes, Kyoto University offers generous scholarships for international students. However, the selection procedures are extremely competitive, and most of the time, applications are only accepted following matriculation. For this reason, it is advised that students obtain adequate funding prior to traveling to Kyoto. Listed in the table below are some of the popular Kyoto University scholarships for international students:
