Does learning abacus conflict with a school's method of teaching Maths?
I don't think so.
Abacus training emphasises mental math abilities and improves numerical understanding is provided as an add on course. Parents, educators and even teachers should maintain good communication with their child to make sure that the teching in the classroom and abacus is balanced.
