National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is used to conduct Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) each year to offer admission to aspirants in hospitality and hotel administration programmes but LPU donot accept that test. You need to be eligible to take admission in Hotel Management Courses. On inquiring, I came to know that LPU floats more than 250 programs out of which Hotel Management courses are much in demand. LPU offers:
1. B.Sc. (Hotel Management) -3 years. (6 Semesters)
2. Bachelor of Hotel Mgt. And Catering Technology - 4 years. (8 Semesters)

1. On the basis of marks in previous class
2. Some national level tests like JEE Mains, NATA NEET UCEED CAT XAT MAT CMAT NMAT GPAT GATE etc.
3. Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities.
4. Board Toppers
5. For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities
6. Defence personnel and central armed police forces (CAPF) dependents
7. LPU has also floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the survivors of COVID and for their dependents as well. # From the above mentioned scholarships, candidate will get one that too which will be maximum one. There are three ways to take admission I. e. In-Campus admission, Outcampus and online admission. Considering the current situation COVID-19 LPU is assisting aspiring students with a mode of online admissions and following the social distancing norms. In addition to this, if you want to visit the campus you may visit with safety measures like mask, gloves etc. As per the guidelines announced by GoI and follow the guidelines of Lockdown announced by government from time to time. By visiting the website you can choose the programme you want to take admission in as the eligibility and admission criteria differs for each course. In order to fetch maximum scholarship, I will advice you to plan your online admission on or before 15-7-2020.

As per the latest NIRF-2020 ranking, LPU is amongst the top 100 institutes of India due to best academics and placements of students. For current admission scenario of 2020, a candidate must passed +2 with 60% aggregate marks in sciences subjects. For B.Tech, you either need to come on the basis of LPU-NEST LPU's own entrance ) or Through JEE Mains. LPU-NEST is though easier and provides relatively more scholarship. Important links :

Dear Manoneet,
No, LPU doesn't accept NCHMCT JEE. You will have to appear for LPU-NEST if you don't have sufficient marks in 12th for direct admission. The eligibility is pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPU-NEST.
Or
In case marks scored in 10+2 are 70% or above, then LPU-NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.
