    For admissions 2020, the scores of CAT/MAT and LPU NEST are serving as scholarship tests. The admission criteria is 55% in graduation and a interview which is being held in video conference mode at present. So, If you have scores of CAT or MAT above the scholarship cut off, you will automatically get scholarships as per the score, while if you haven't written any of these, you still have an option to write LPU NEST and secure the scholarships upto 35% of programme fee applicable throughout the duration of the programme.     Dear Pejush, LPU does accept MAT and CAT scores. LPU-NEST is conducted for those candidates who miss out on MAT and CAT or have not been able to score good in them. For more information, contact the university. Good luck.

    LPU-NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and for a scholarship for most of the programmes. Though LPU-NEST is not mandatory for all courses but it will be better if you are going for it.     Though, for any university in India ( private or government or autonomous ), it is mandatory by UGC guidelines to have an entrance test for any particular stream. Though, other relevant competitive exam marks are also accepted in alternate to that. Moreover, LPU-NEST is also for those who want to change their stream for higher studies.

    Yes, LPU do accept MAT and CAT marks applicant should qualify the exam with 85 percentile and above. The LPU NEST {Lovely professional university Eligibility and scholarship test} for admission to various programs at Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some programs and for most programs. Although LPU NEST is not required in all courses, it is better if you choose to do so.     LPU NEST is conducted for those who has not appeared in any other national Level exam such as CAT MAT XAT etc. To fulfill the eligibility condition of particular programme. If you have scored 80 Percentile or above in CAT or MAT or XAT then LPU NEST is exempted.

    Hi Pejush, LPU does accept CAT MAT marks. If you have scored 80 Percentile or above in CAT or MAT or XAT
    or All India Rank upto 20000 in CMAT or 230 and above score in NMAT then LPU NEST is exempted. For those who have not appeared in national tests, they can always appear for LPU NEST and seek all the benefits.

    LPU accepts the CAT and MAT score for some programs as an eligibility check. LPU NEST is in accordance with other National level exam and has a dual role:
    It decides the Eligibility of the candidate for particular Programme, also it provides the scholarships depending upon the students performance in the same. There are some programs at LPU where eligibility criteria is determined by LPU NEST qualification and hence the candidate is required to pass the exam to become eligible for taking admission in that particular course.
