Hi Sameeksha, the university has opened and the classes are offline. The students who cannot attend university due to some reason can avail online facility as the classes are held in hybrid mode. Hope that satisfies you.

As per my knowledge, LPU will work according to the Punjab government guidelines, LPU's main concern is student safety and they had taken my initiative and innovative steps during this COVID19 crisis. COVID 19 crisis has impacted the scholastic system upside down posing a huge challenge to the education sector. Educational institutions were being shut down, to keep up the momentum and motivation in the virtual world, LPU has been engaging its student and staff remotely through online platforms and has taken many initiatives during the COVID 19, to have a lesser impact on student education and career. 1. Fully online application and admission process - From filling up of registration form to conducting the entrance test, including the interview process everything is online. 2. Online Payment - LPU provides online methods for payment, it can be done through credit card/Debit card /online bank transfer/ UPI. 3. Online Classes- Major problem faced by students during this pandemic was the cancelling or delaying of examination but LPU stood out from other universities and institutes in conducting timely examination and declaring results To ensure the safety of the students and the teachers, the government had ordered all educational institutes in India to remain closed. Keeping that in consideration, Lovely Professional University has begun virtual classes for the students which they can attend from the comfort of their home or the hostels. LPU is also conducting proper, needed temperature and other related check-ups for every person who enters the campus. All the schools, staff rooms and cabins at LPU are being sanitized.

So far, LPU has been conducting our classes very smoothly, even in these hard times. And for LPU, student security is always a top priority. They decide by keeping students' security in their minds, and I don't think there's any harm in that because LPU never lagged in this pandemic, not even now to date. LPU made its own platform for our classes. We were not forced to attend classes on zoom, google meet, or somewhere else; instead, we were attending classes on LPU's own platform, plus we were getting assignments and everything timely. Our professors and mentors provided by LPU are helping us all the time. Our classes are on time like they used to be physically 9 to 5. everything is the same, actually. Even were attending lots of workshops, webinars, and everything virtually, it's still the same; it's just that were not physically present in LPU, that's it. I saw many of my friends from other universities starting their sessions very late. Till now, some of them haven't even got the chance to give their exams or attend classes smoothly, but I am thrilled and impressed with my university that how quickly they're adaptive to changes and technology things. The only thing which hurts me, and I am sure it hurts freshers too, that we're missing our LPU campus allotted, its wonderful, and my juniors haven't even got the chance to SEE the beauty of LPU physically. But they're not lagged as well. They got the virtual inductions, freshers, and everything else was getting. So I feel LPU will do justice for even the 2021 batch too. Live online classes, much like face-to-face classes whose effectiveness has already been well tested in the last two semesters wherein more than 1,00,000 hours of online sessions were conducted for LPU students across various academic programs. Hie! Being an alumni I would like to say that by taking into consideration the present situation I. e. COVID -19, it all depends upon the decision of the government. If the situation remains unfavorable, then it might happen that the class this time also runs in an online mode. But don't worry as LPU is having its own customized platform which would help the students to be more interactive as similar to the traditional teaching. Additionally it also having its own app that is LPU LIVE which makes the teaching rather more interesting.

LPU has always been guided by its commitment to respond to every situation in a proactive manner. For Batch 2021 it will be still online as per government guidelines. My brother is attending classes and giving exams on their " My class platform" its in-house robust platform, in collaboration with some of the best tech companies for online teaching and evaluation.

Hi, during this unprecedented phase due to COVID the classes are being conducted online as per the government regulation to ensure safety of the candidates. As and when the government will be passing a notification for offline classes the university students are intimated through UMS platform. Dear Sameeksha, Yes, as per my knowledge, as of now classes for existing batches are going on online mode as per government guidelines. If I talk about the 2021 session it will start in the first week of august so if the conditions are good on they are waiting for their students for their regular classes. So it all depends on the conditions. Anyways they are ready with all things for this new normal norms for this pandemic. But if this outbreak does not stop then it will be online only.
