Does LPU gives any concession to poor students?

Yes, LPU provides concessions in form of scholarships to financially weaker students. For students from economically weaker sections whose annual income is lesser or equal to 5 Lacs are provided with a 30% scholarship. Such concession can be availed by 20 students only. To my experience, Lovely Professional University scholarships generally are awarded on the basis of previous performance in academics, culture, sports, or other activities or under specific scholarship schemes category for a particular section of students. Financial Aid will be provided to the students belonging to underprivileged students like orphans, persons with disability, etc. Or some specific groups like Wards of Defence personnel, etc. Being the largest University in the country, Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So, the University extends the Scholarship and Financial Aid Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints.
