Yes Virat, LPU has a big indoor sports stadium. Being an educational consultant, I have been there for some official work. I will discuss my experience there about the indoor stadium. Starting from 20 Badminton Courts, Squash Courts, Shooting Range, Olympic Size Pool, Separate Diving Pool, Wrestling and Boxing Arena, state-of-the-art Gymnasium, and many more unmatchable sports facilities. LPU is home to one of Asia's the largest multi-functional Indoor Sports Stadiums with world-class infrastructure, including an Olympic-size all-weather swimming pool. Which is spread over 600+ acres of land having A+ infrastructure. The name of the indoor stadium is 'SHANTI DEVI MITTAL INDOOR STADIUM'. There are multiple facilities available inside the indoor stadium for all sports enthusiasts. There are- 6 Squash Courts, 1 Basketball Court, 6 Volleyball Courts, 6 Badminton Courts, 1 Shooting Range, Weightlifting Room, Chess Room, Yoga Room, and Aerobics room, Taekwondo arena, etc. Students can practice a variety of sports like Badminton, Basketball, Shooting, Boxing, or avail the GYM facility. Lovely Professional University does have an Olympic Standard swimming pool within the campus inside the SHANTI DEVI MITTAL INDOOR STADIUM. The diving pool & warming up the pool are also there adjacent to Swimming Pool. LPU is also having the best trainers to train students rightly and with full safety & security. LPU never lacks in sports opportunities or competitions they even conduct many National and International Sports championships in which you'll witness the worlds the finest sportspersons are competing against each other. Yes LPU has an indoor sports stadium. When I took admission in 2015 at that time it was under construction but in my final year (2019) it was completely ready and operational. I visited several times there. It is actually huge in space. It is one of the largest and advanced indoor sports complexes. It has 20 badminton courts, an Olympic size swimming pool, a wrestling, and boxing area, a shooting range, Gymnasium and many more sports facilities. It is actually a proud feeling to be part of LPU. Yes of course. Being an alumnus of LPU and a sports enthusiast I can tell you that LPU is India's the largest university with campus area of more than 600 area. LPU is know for its vast infrastructure. LPU has one of the largest indoor stadium. Shanti Devi Mittal Indoor Stadium (10621 Sq m) is a cynosure for all sportspersons and it has multifarious facilities under one roof which include 6 Squash Courts, 1 Basketball Court, 3 Volleyball Courts, 12 Badminton Courts, 1 Shooting Range, 3 Swimming Pools, Weightlifting Room, Chess Room, Yoga Room, and Aerobics room, Taekwondo arena etc. The campus has in house bowling complex with 4 lanes and snooker lounge. LPU also have hi-tech gyms in Unimall and large playgrounds on which they organise national level sports every year. LPU provides the best platform to excel in both studies and sports.
