Lovely Professional University gives direct admission to the students scoring equal to or more than 85 percent in JEE Mains. They are given scholarships as well. However, those having scored less than 85 percent need not feel disheartened. They can appear for LPU NEST the entrance cum Scholarship Exam of LPU and appear for the proctored test sitting at home. You may get a huge scholarship as well. Let me tell you the NIRF ranking of LPU is 51 in engineering. Hope this answers your question. Good Luck.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) has no set limit when it comes to JEE Main cutoff in order to obtain admission but it does receive JEE Main scores in lieu of its own test; LPUNEST. This offers flexibility to students; students who succeed in JEE Main are able to get direct admission and receive even merit-based scholarship without writing LPUNEST. This policy presents the fact that LPU is student friendly and that there are numerous ways of joining their highly ranked B.Tech programs. Meanwhile, those students who might not have taken JEE Main or did not score as well also have a chance of qualifying by the LPUNEST. LPU practices
