As an alumnus of LPU, I can attest to the fact that the university goes above and beyond for its students in terms of education, professors, placements, and infrastructure. As per my knowledge, LPU does not provide B.Tech in Petroleum. But, you can pursue Chemical Engineering at LPU which is very good at LPU. Let me share the eligibility of this programme at LPU. You should be pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Chemistry Mathematics, and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. LPU is spread over 600 acres campus having 30000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come there across the world which made me feel like in a foreign country. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. Scholarships: I got a maximum scholarship while studying there. LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students who have a good academic record, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility.
