Yes! LPU becomes the first private university in INDIA to be granted ICAR Accreditation. School of Agriculture, Lovely Professional University has been granted accreditation by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, making it the first and only private University in the country to receive the accreditation. The grant was bestowed upon LPU at the XXII meeting of the National Agricultural Education Accreditation Board of ICAR, which was held on 28th September 2018 at the NASC Complex, New Delhi. Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Chairman of the National Agricultural Education Accreditation Board and Director General, ICAR, gave the firm opinion that the quality of agricultural education should be given paramount importance.
