Many inventions like an improved oral targeted drug delivery system or a square hole drilling machine have been or are being patented. In contrast to other universities the atmosphere at LPU is one of intellectual vigour, which is reflected in the performance of our students.
2. Not just teachers but mentors:
At LPU we have designed a special system that focuses on the student and his innate learning capacities through varied media. The centerpiece of the system is our faculty who are not only renowned for their individual research work, but are more like life guides and mentors, focused on helping students achieve their full potential. Thus a lot of our teaching is done in a manner that will ensure both retention and the ability to critically analyse and apply the knowledge gleaned. The faculty of LPU, updated with the latest methods of pedagogy (teaching) help turn students into a finished product with high market demand, yet with a social conscience and urge to contribute and give back.
3. Infrastructure at an incomparable scale:
LPU is built on a scale far greater than any, being the largest single-campus university in India. The sprawling 600 acre LPU campus is connected fully by WiFi. It is loaded with labs, fully enabled and equipped even including one just to create Apps in. 5000 computer terminals give students the time needed on a workstation for their deep academic pursuits. An integrated and completely digital Library and Resource Centre serves the needs of all from fresher student to seasoned research scientist. Besides the robust technology backbone the campus is a township by itself, accommodating twenty thousand students in its residential facility, with malls, banks, atms, a hospital, pharmacy, gyms and everything else needed to be comfortable, secure while focused on the pursuit of knowledge.

Hi, Yes, of course. In LPU, the faculty is extensively focusing on the research, and the students are also motivated about the same. Many students in LPU publish the paper in Science-indexed journals, which could only be possible due to the students' efforts and proper guidance. LPU has a dedicated wing known as the Central Instrumentation Facility that houses many high-end instruments for moving Science and technology research to new heights. Faculty, academic scholars, and students can use these instruments and facilities to conduct internationally competitive research in fundamental, applied, and medical sciences. Thanks.
