Does LPU offer admission on the basis of class 12th scores? Do I stand a chance to get admission with 75% in 12th?

    Yes, you can get admission there. You have to clear their entrance test.

    There are more than 250 programmes which LPU is offering to the students. After completing 12th grade you may proceed in any of the following stream.
    1. Engineering
    2. Computer Applications
    3. Agriculture (ICAR Approved)
    4. Food Technology
    5. Biotechnology
    6. Management
    7. Hotel management
    8. Commerce
    9 Economics
    10. Law
    11. Architecture
    For graduation, LPU offers scholarship on the basis of previous percentage and as you secured 75 %, you will get scholarship as well. Eligibility condition of course varies from course to course, so for more details you can visit

LPU provides admission on the basis of 12 th scores but it entirely depends upon the programme as there are more than 250+ courses and all of them have their eligibilities as well as criteria. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programme test is applicable only for scholarship.     Hi, Yes, you can get admission on the basis of 12th scores. There are 200+ programme like engineering, Honours whose eligibility is 60 %, for some, it is 55% and for others, it is 50%. Even there is direct admission to some courses and in some its mandatory to qualify the LPU NEST exam and in some, LPU NEST exam + Interview.     LPU has more than 200 courses and you can take admission after 12th each and every course has its own eligibility. As per your per your percentage you can take admission in so many course in LPU

    Hi Vaishali, Yes LPU offers admission on the basis of 12th Scores. However, It basically depends on the programme in which you are interested and want to apply for. Depending on the eligibility criteria, there is direct admission to some courses and in some its mandatory to qualify the LPU NEST exam and in some, LPU NEST exam + Interview. There are courses 200+ programme like engineering, Honours programme whose minimum eligibility in the qualifying exam is 60%, some, it is 55% and for others, it is 50%. Yes, you can get admission in Fine Arts at Chandigarh University even if you did not study Maths in 12th. For this course, subject choice in school does not matter much.
