LPU always intends to provide scholarship to all eligible students in all possible ways so that fulfilling the fees criteria should not be the hurdle for any of the students to get quality education. LPU always intends to accomplish Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in most effective way. Priority always extended to admire achievement & sacrifice of Defence personnel towards the country. With a view to facilitate access of higher education, LPU is providing the following scholarships to encourage our dedicated soldiers in the Defence and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and their dependents. For the study of Defence Personnel:- Category A : Recipient of Gallantry award 50% Tuition Fee Waiver Category B: Serving Officers (Other than above) nominated through study leave - 30% Tuition Fee Waiver For the study of dependents of Defence Personnel:- Category A : Dependents of Recipient of Gallantry award 30% Tuition Fee Waiver Category B: Dependents of Serving personnel/ ex-servicemen/ retired personnel - 20% Tuition Fee Waiver Eligibility Relaxation: (a) A relaxation of 5% in eligibility will be given for all categories and programmes (Diploma, Programmes after 10+2, Programmes after Graduation etc. ). Except for programmes where Annexure 1 - Scholarship/Relaxation in Eligibility Conditions for Serving/Retired Defence/CAPF/Para- Military Personnel and their Dependents Page 2 certain regulatory bodies have imposed minimum eligibility conditions, (b) All the serving officers (from all the forces covered under this policy), who are willing to take admission in LPU through study leave will be exempted from entrance exam and interview conducted by LPU (Except Ph.D. & LL. Lovely Professional University is close to my heart. I Have spend some of the very memorable days of my college life here and looking forward to so much more. I have tried summing up my experience so far, below:I did MBA from Lovely professional University, LPU is one of the best choices indeed. Fee Concession for Defence, CAPF and their dependants: Offers fee concession to Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Coast Guard, Central Reserve Police Force, Border Security force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seem Bal, Central Industrial Security Force, Railway Protection Force, National Security Guards, Special Frontier Force, Assam Riffles, Border Road organisation, General Reserve Engineer Force, Defence Research and Development organisation, Military Engineers Service and Defence Security Corps.

Yes, LPU respect the people, who are doing that much for the country, we offer scholarship to them and their dependent. Also, to salute, LPU gave relaxation to them and their ward in eligibility.

Defense forces considered under the scheme: Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Indian Coast Guard Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seem Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Railway Protection Force (RPF), National Security Guards (NSG), Special Frontier Force (SFF), Assam Rifles, Border Road organisation, General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF), Defense Research and Development organisation (DRDO), Military Engineers Service MS Defense Security Corps (DSC), Ordnance Factory Board. The serving officers who have received medals and awards of gallantry are given waive off on 50 percent in the programme fee while other serving officers are given waive off on 30 percent of programme fee. Similarly the dependents of gallant award recipients receive waive off on 30 percent of the programme and the dependents of serving or retired officials dependents receive 20 percent waive off on the programme fee.
