Yes, of course, they offer, and I am pursuing a Bachelor's in journalism and mass communication from LPU itself. I want to share my experience; LPU is the university, which provided the best guest lectures, workshops, seminars, events, best infrastructure, faculty members specifically from the famous industry. And recently, LPU has achieved a great milestone by becoming one of the three Indian universities to secure a place in the Top 200 in the World in Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2021. Anyways, now talking about myself, after I joined LPU I learned so many skills like graphic designing, photoshop, photography, digital marketing, writing, podcast, vlogging because LPU has made our journalism curriculum so nicely that it includes more practical learning and industry demands skills. And the best part is recent, LPU collaborated with the IVY league university. Yes, University has joined hands with one of the world's best-ranked Universities. The University of Pennsylvania to create opportunities for journalism, mass communication, and English students. With notable and world-famous alumni like Elon Musk, Warren Buffett, it is ranked 13th in the world university rankings and number 6 by Forbes in the USA. Apart from all this, there are workshops and seminars conducted regularly, which helps us learn many skills. Focus on enhancing technical skills of reporting, news design software, video editing, photography etc. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. Are an integral part of curriculum.
