    Both Full Time & Part time Ph.D. programs are available in LPU. In Case of Ph.D. Part Time programme, applicants are required to submit NOC (No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of admission. Other than Engineering disciplines, Students who have done their Masters in Distance Mode, are eligible for Ph.D. programme. Eligibility for Ph.D. programme is as follows, - Masters degree in a relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate;
    1)LPUNEST + Interview
    2)NET + Interview
    3)M.Phil (Regular) + Interview
    Duration of Ph.D. programme will be Minimum 3 Years & Maximum 6 Years (2 Years relaxation is also there for the f

    First of all, congratulations on your decision to pursue a Ph.D. and all the best! You're in for quite a bit of hard work, so I hope you've made this decision after putting in the due thought. Now, the part-time Ph.D. courses offered at LPU are for a minimum duration of 3 years, which is a decent time period for you to get through the research. As an institution, LPU is a great university.     Being studied from LPU I would like to say that LPU has very simple admission process when it comes to Ph.D. For admission to Ph.D. the criteria is 55% aggregates marks in your Masters and you have to qualify interview along with LPU NEST. Also LPU is the only university in India which gives multiple coursework options for Ph.D. (Part time) students like:
    1.15-days course work (November/ December 2021)
    2.4-days course work every month (September to December, 2021)
    3. Classes on weekends (Saturday & Sunday only August to November, 2021)

    LPU offers both Fulltime & Part time Ph.D. while you are applying for Part-Time Ph.D. you require a NOC from the organisation where you are working. A self-employed candidate can submit a documentary proof such as Income tax return/ copy of registration of the firm or company or any other convincing/genuine document as a proof of self- employment.
