Does LPU offer any scholarship on the basis of LPU-NEST?

LPU floats various scholarship schemes on the following basis: 1. On the basis of previous qualification 2. LPUNEST 3. Scholarship on the basis of Sports, Co-Curricular 4. COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship Out of all these, the LPU NEST based scholarship is the largest such scheme in the country, with over 50000 plus beneficiaries over the years, it comes in handy for needy and deserving students. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification : (for example 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes and graduation for PG Programmes). The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of qualification previous to Eligibility qualification. For example, someone seeking admission in B.Tech can seek scholarship on the basis of 10+2 (Eligibility Qualification) or 10th (Qualification previous to 10+2). Augmenting support to deserving candidates, LPU has further expanded the scholarship bracket to even facilitate candidates scoring a minimum of 70% marks during the COVID-19 pandemic national lockdown period. Hi Jasmine, In a bid to owe the social responsibility towards the needy, and give a token to the meritorious, LPU offers a range of scholarships and financial aid. You do not have to apply for a scholarship every time you pay the fee. What you get at the time of admission, continues till the course is over. However, the criteria is different for those who have sought admission through sports quota, board toppers and performing arts. If you are a board topper and someone from sports category and extra curricular performance category, you will have to either maintain a CGPA or keep performing in sports or extracurricular activities as the case may be. Otherwise if you have got scholarship through LPU NEST then you are not bound to maintain your academic or sports performance. There are other scholarships the university offers. Marks based (for previous two qualifying Exams) Performance in other National Level Entrance test Performance in Sports, Performance in Cultural, R&amp;D, Co-curricular, Social Services, Bravery Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board Financial Aid for Defense /CAPF and their dependents Financial Aid for Orphan Candidates Financial Aid for Persons with certain disabilities LPUNEST Study Grant Minorities Transgender Non Traditional student Need Based-Financial Aid EWS scholarship for those whose family income is less than 5 lacs Single girl child Single Mother Orphan. LPU offers a special scholarship of Full Tuition fee waiver to Indian resident orphan students whose both parents are dead. The university gives scholarships on the basis of a first come first serve basis to 10 applicants. The candidate having benchmark disability of more than 70% and/or Locomotor disability caused by spinal cord injury can avail the benefit of full programme fee waiver. However, the LPU committee scrutinises the case.
