Course contains the basis formualtions like cream, lotions, toothpaste etc. 2 Introduction to herbal drugs Include the discussion and description about herbs, herbal materials, herbal preparations, and finished herbal products that contain as active ingredients parts of plants, or other plant materials, or combinations and which are used especially for the prevention and treatment of diseases 3 Provide understanding about metabolic processes involved in human illness. 4 Social and preventive medicine is concerned with the measures taken to prevent diseases and promote health. It deals with various types of water and environmental pollution. Students will be able to understand the transmission and prevention of communicable as well as non-communicable diseases.
