Does LPU offer NCC? I want to know?

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) helps for nation-building. The NCC provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities, with a distinct emphasis on Social Services, Discipline, and Adventure Training. All the regular students of schools and colleges can join the NCC on a voluntary basis. It is a very important role of NCC in college and universities. NCC cadets are presently going through various physical and mental exercises. The training is mainly for different soldier-skills including hard drill, marching, map reading, rifle operating, setting-up ambush, emergency duties. In addition, cadets are being prepared to be good citizens through social activities of awareness and awakening, including blood donation, national integration, rural- development projects like MNREGA, environment protection and many more. Hope this helps. I will advise you to take admission in Chandigarh University. And join NCC in this university. Benefit of the student for different aspect Student can join NCC in the interesting wing. Additionally, after joining NCC student can also pursue for the UPSC CDSE Exam. However, special classes are also given to the student who has an interest in joining Indian armed forces after completing graduation. And other facility of this University the University is also recognised for its programs in engineering, management, Science and many other courses. Chandigarh university is providing the benefit of sports scholarship to people seeking for admission there. The students can get up to 100% scholarship.

NCC Cadet Dalbir Singh and Chandigarh University Gharuan third-year Aerospace Engineering student Gharuan won gold in the Aeromodelling RC Flying Competition held at Airforce Station Jodhpur during the All India Vayu Sainik Camp (AIVSC-2019). AIVSC is the most prestigious National Level Camp hosted by the Air Wing of the National Cadet Corps (National Cadet Corps) to encourage and motivate young NCC cadets across India to pursue a career in the Indian Air Force. The AIVSC-2019 drew over 600 Air Wing Cadets from 17 Directorates from throughout the country.

I will advise you to take admission in Chandigarh University. Hi there, LPU does offer NCC. University regularly hosts training camps for all NCC cadets of The 8th Punjab battalion. More than 500 Senior-Junior Division (SD/JD) & Senior-Junior Wing (SW/JW) NCC cadets from 28 schools and colleges attend these training camps.

I don't know much about LPU, but I want to tell you that Chandigarh University is one of the most famous universities in terms of social work and extracurricular activities. Here, NCC is the major domain to pursue your army dream. Aim of NCC in Chandigarh University: - to develop some qualities like character, courage, commandership, discipline, leadership, and spirit of adventure among the youth. - Provide a suitable environment to encourage youth towards the Indian Armed forces.

<p dir="ltr">Yes, definitely, you can join Ncc. It is a two year course. NCC opens their portal to register online. You can apply for the entrance exam. If you have qualified for the NCC exam then an interview will be called. For more and better information you should visit Division of Student Welfare, Block-13 in the University Campus.</p>

LPU does offer NCC. The University has a SD/SW unit of N. C. (Army Wing and Air Wing) under Community Service Cell, Division of Student Welfare-LPU. The students of any stream (Other than 1 year course or final Year Students) have the option to enroll in NCC after clearing the Common Entrance Test and interview conducted by Community Service Cell, Division of Student Welfare-LPU. Selection of the NCC Volunteer (Offline Mode) The recruitment process for the enrolment of new cadets to Senior Division or Senior Wing will consists of the following steps: Registration Process (Through UMS) Written Examination Physical Test Personal Interview Selection of the NCC Volunteer (Online Mode).

Lovely Professional University (LPU) hosted a ten-day annual National Cadet Corps (NCC) - India campus of the 2nd Punjab Girls NCC Battalion at its campus. Near 440 NCC cadets, from different colleges and schools in the Doaba region attended the camp. NCC cadets from the 8th, 12th, and 21st NCC battalions were also included in this camp. Organized from 3rd to 12th August, the camp inculcated among cadets the importance of duty and Discipline NCC cadets have imparted Training in handling Weapons, drills, signals, map reading, First Aid, national integration, civil defense, Ecology, Leadership, and more. Cultural Activities and Seminars were also held at two much capacity auditoriums of LPU on different days. Camp Commandant Colonel Rajender Yadav, Deputy Commandant Lt Col Satish Yadav, Camp some Goal Thapa, and other JCOs, NCOs, and Associate NCC officers expressed their Satisfaction and Happiness overall the channelization processes meted out to them through LPU administration. Colonel Yadav said: We are thankful to the LPU administration for helping us in smooth conduction of such a vast camp stretched up to ten days. Working in the congenial LPU environment, we have been successful in achieving the aim of the camp to provide a spirit of Teamwork, Self-Discipline and to make cadets understand their responsibility towards society and the nation.
