Does LPU offers any scholarship on the basis of LPU-NEST?

Yes LPU offers scholarship on basis of many criteria such as sports, Defence, marks of previous qualification, co-curricular and many more. One of the criteria is LPU NEST. LPU NEST is not only eligibility test BUT also scholarship test. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only the maximum scholarship will be awarded to the candidate. The best thing is once you get the scholarship, it will remain same till last semester.

HI Vineela, LPU does offer scholarship on the basis of LPU NEST. LPU NEST is an entrance test conducted by LPU for admission in various programmes. It aims to check how far the concepts from the previous qualification are clear. It's tough but those who have studied honestly will be able to make it. Don't you worry, the syllabus of LPU NEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification. In addition to it, there are questions of reasoning, verbal ability, analytical ability are also there. LPU NEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for scholarship. One has to register oneself with the university and pay online for taking LPU NEST. Application form will be in a format that can be processed by Optical Mark Reader (OMR). One can get a LPU NEST kit that consists of a University Information Brochure containing details of Infrastructure, Global Character, Placements, Academics, Student services, Campus life etc. LPU NEST Booklet comprising details of Programmes applicable, Eligibility, Fee and Scholarship, Schedule of Test, Question Paper Pattern, Test Cities etc. Applicants may obtain LPU NEST Kit from University Campus or admission office or any other prescribed place by paying cash. Cost of Application form and Printed LPU NEST Kit 1500 (for Boys) and 1000 (for Girls). One can take the Online Remotely Proctored LPU NEST exam from Home. One can get the test altered and can avail a second chance as well. The best out of the two results will be considered for scholarships. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and scholarship for most of the programmes. LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint for a student to pursue his choice of studies. Scholarship can be availed in the various courses offered by LPU. LPU offers scholarship on the various categories :- The first and foremost category is that a student can avail the scholarship on the basis of his/her previous qualification or previous to previous qualification which should be minimum of 70 percentage. For instance if a student is applying for a Bachelors degree, LPU will be considering the 12th marks or 10th marks whichever will be higher. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test LPU NEST on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship. Some national level tests like JEE Mains, NATA NEET UCEED CAT XAT MAT CMAT NMAT GPAT GATE etc. Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities. Board Toppers For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities Defence personnel and central armed police forces (CAPF) dependents COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship From all the above mentioned whichever is higher that will be applicable. As per my findings and information from acquaintances, Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. Hi, Yes. LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPU NEST Sports, Defence, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester. Thanks.
